Request a Presentation, Site Tour or Field Trip Slide Show and Discussion Citizens for a Strawberry Creek Plaza is developing a slide presentation that we would be happy to share with your group, organization, business or association. Allow half an hour for the presentation, and we recommend allowing nearly that much time again for questions. Total time: 1 to 1-1/2 hours Site Tour We also can offer your group a site tour of Berkeley’s core downtown area, plus a short excursion to the UCB campus to view Strawberry Creek in its more natural condition. After the site visit, we can stop at a local restaurant or pub for a short question and answer session. Total time: 1 to 1-1/2 hours Field Trip to San Luis Obispo In 2004, 44 Berkeleyans traveled to San Luis Obispo overnight to explore SLO’s successful downtown creek restoration and revitalization project firsthand. We stayed at several cozy B&Bs and generally had a delightful time, except that our train was terribly late! If your group would like to experience SLO’s wildly successful Mission Plaza and San Luis Creek restoration and meet with community leaders there, we would be happy to discuss arranging a Field Trip led by a Citizens for a Strawberry Creek member.
