We are accepting donations for education and outreach as well as for completion of final feasibility studies needed for daylighting Strawberry Creek in downtown.

In addition to our slide presentations, site tours and field trips, we are hoping to organize a larger event in the form of a community charrette or conference on the vision of a “green” Berkeley downtown core in the fall of 2006 or winter of 2007.

We are also seeking larger contributions and grants to cover the costs of the final feasibility studies for daylighting and plaza design. We have prepared a detailed proposal describing the project, including scope of work required, project team, design, EIR, budget, stakeholders, and other information.

Citizens for a Strawberry Creek Plaza is an ad hoc community group. Our fiscal sponsor is The Watershed Project, a 501 ( c ) 3 non-profit organization, formerly the Aquatic Outreach Institute.
